Meet Dr. Bjorn Thorsen
Dr. Bjorn Thorsen received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2010 and went on to graduate from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine in 2014. After receiving his D.D.S, he completed advanced training through a general practice residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC.
Continuing Education and Memberships
He prides himself on staying current with the most recent research and knowledge across all disciplines in dentistry by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education courses. Dr. Thorsen is an active member of the:
- American Dental Association
- New Jersey Dental Association
- Bergen County Dental Society
- Academy of General Dentistry
He is also working towards his Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry and has been nominated by his peers for inclusion in topDentists.com.

When not hard at work providing his patients with comfortable quality care, Dr. Thorsen enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily and son, as well as hiking, tennis, football, electric cars and travelling the world in search of food and fun.
